TI Book Editors win PROSE Award!
We’re delighted to share news that Roshan Paul and Thomas Gries have won a PROSE Award for their outstanding book Sustainable Innovations in the Textile Industry. This title from The Textile Institute Book Series, published by Elsevier last year, came out on top in the Engineering and Technology category.
TI subscribers will be aware that the textiles industry is undergoing significant transformation. Sustainable Innovations in the Textile Industry looks at the methods and technologies driving that transformation at every stage of production. By exploring historical perspectives alongside current breakthroughs in fibers, chemicals, and manufacturing processes, this work has become an indispensable resource for academics and professions who want to learn more about sustainability.
The PROSE awards are run by the Association of American Publishers (AAP) and recognise publishers who produce works of extraordinary merit – particularly where significant contributions are been made to a field of study.
