Rebecca Price 1972 – 2024
It is with great sadness that The Textile Institute announces the death of Rebecca Price, Executive Director.
Rebecca sadly died 2 January 2024 at Salford Royal Hospital, Salford, with her fiancé by her side. Rebecca had been diagnosed with cancer and she fought a short but very brave battle. Her death was sudden and unexpected although she faced many recent health challenges.
Rebecca has been part of the fabric of The Textile Institute since 2000.
She was known around the globe for her work in TI Publications and Professional Qualifications. She thoroughly enjoyed travelling to visit Textile Institute Sections, attending Textile Institute World Conferences (TIWC) around the world, and manning the ITMA stand.
It is a time of great sadness for many, and our thoughts are with friends, family and staff at The Textile Institute International Headquarters at this difficult time .

This event is held at exciting and relevant locations around the globe and is in an important meeting point for the textile industry and members worldwide. The social events associated with the conference bring together the global community to enjoy the host country’s culture and hospitality.
