Description
New Spinning Systems deals with the spinning processes developed in recent years. The first part covers a wide range of newer processes: electrostatic spinning, air-vortex spinning, friction spinning, ‘disc spinning’, double roving spinning, self-twist spinning, wrap spinning, false twist spinning and adhesive processes. The second part is a detailed consideration of open-end rotor spinning, the modern spinning system that has so far made the greatest impact of the textile industry and is now extensively used.
